Egg Fried Rice

Every once in a while I want to have something with an Asian flavor. I love the contrasting tastes that you find in Asian cuisine. The only problem is that a lot of Asian dishes can get a little involved and since I’m feeling particularly lazy tonight, this Egg Fried Rice dish looks like it might just be the thing. It’s a popular dish in Chinese restaurants, yet is actually pretty easy to make at home, which means you’ll save money by doing it yourself.

Brats Smothered In Onions & Green Peppers

I was making this up yesterday and when it was done I thought that it looked so good that I just had to get a picture of it.

Rice A Roni Casserole Plus

Ok, the first thing I have to say about this is that it isn’t technically a casserole in terms of how most people think of what a casserole recipe is, I’m calling it a casserole simply because I made it in a 2 quart casserole dish. Besides, I did a quick definition search on Google and from what I found, it looks like the term refers more to the cooking dish than the recipe itself. Go figure.

Orange Tapioca Jello

I ran into something kinda strange today. I was looking for a good dessert type recipe to post here because I’m in a dessert kinda mood this morning. However, when I started looking around my files I ran into the strangest phenomenon. I found more Jello recipes than you can shake a stick at (though just why anyone would shake a stick at a Jello recipe is beyond me.).

Low-Cal Spanish Baked Fish

I’ve always loved a good seafood dish and this one is no exception. In fact, I’m liable to make it sometime soon not only because I’m a seafood lover from way back but also because with the temps in the 30’s at night these days I’ll also take any excuse I can to turn the oven on for a while.
