You Want Mayo On That?

Welcome back!

In the line of condiments, mayo is one of those that I have always used sparingly. That’s because I’ve never cared for it by itself. By using it sparingly I get to have the extra touch that it gives to the taste of something without getting the mayo only taste.

It’s used commonly on burgers and yes, hot dogs too (though not nearly as much as ketchup or mustard). It’s also an ingredient in a lot of dressings and things such as tuna salad or ham salad.

There’s quite a bunch of people that like to have lots of mayo on something and that’s fine by me, they’re welcome to those burgers that are slathered in enough of the stuff to float a battleship. I’ll take the thin layer and maybe add in some ketchup and or mustard and maybe a pickle or three.
