Why is it that you don’t hear people in Congress or the White House talking about balancing the federal budget anymore?

Call me old fashioned but I think that spending money that you don’t have is a bad idea that will put you in the poorhouse faster than anything and yet Obama is proposing to spend money faster than ever…. As if he invented the stuff.
