Low Fat Rocky Road Brownies
December 6th, 2009 | Posted in baking, Desserts, losing weight, low fat, Recipies, Snacks, Treats, video, Vlog | Comments OffBrownies have been one of my favorite treats as far back as I can remember. Today I was looking through my recipe collection and ran across this recipe for a low fat version that looks so good I’m going to have to make some up soon. Granted, I’ll need to go easy on how often I actually eat them because they are a sugar shot but everybody deserves a treat once in a while. The key is moderation. As in I won’t eat the whole effing batch in one sitting like I would have years ago *cackle*
So, Preheat the oven to 325 and get a 9 x 13 pan ready by coating it with your favorit non stick cooking spray and dusting it with some flour.
Then in a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 cup of cocoa powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 cup of flour.
In another bowl, mix 4 whipped egg whites, 1/2 cup of sugar, a tablespoon of vanilla, and a cup of marshmellow creme.
Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, pour it into the pan and bake for 18 minutes.
4 whipped egg whites
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of vanilla
1/2 cup of cocoa
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of flour
1 cup of marshmallow cream
