Review: George Foreman Grand Champ Grill

March 28th, 2009 | Posted in Appliances, Grill, Health, Reviews | 2 Comments

A little over a week ago I started dropping hints that I was up to something. I even posted a video to try and maximize the curiosity factor. Now the time has come to let the secret out.

I’ve been working on a video series to go along with this blog. Starring the Tinfoil Chef himself. This series of videos is going to cover an assortment of topics from recipes and product reviews to hints, tips and tricks. No doubt there will be other things included as well.

In any event, Here is the first episode, featuring a review of a George Foreman grill that my nieces got me for Christmas

      BETTER WAY TO CLEAN GRILL:

Unplug & let cool about 10 minutes with cover down.
Moisten 2 paper towels & wring out excess.
Fold to fit inside surface, put inside grill & close cover.
After you wash the dishes wipe off surfaces. The steam
generated while the cover was closed softens the hardened
food & makes cleanup real easy. Then you just throw the
      paper towels away.

    2. That’s a good way to go especially if you’re concerned about accidental burns while cleaning it. However I’ve come to prefer the damp sponge while the grill is hot. It is flat out the easiest cleanup method I’ve ever seen in anything like this. No matter how you clean it up, the grill itself is a Godsend when it comes to eating with less grease and fat
