Puff Pastry Pizza

Welcome back!

One of the things I like more than pasta is pizza. It seems like a couple hundred years ago now but I even spent several years delivering and then later making pizza in a few national chains. Those were indeed the days, free pizza just about every day.

Now of course, there’s no way I’d get back into delivery and I have no desire to man a restaurant maketable ever again. On the other hand, I’m gonna give this a try as soon as I can pull the ingredients together.

Thaw out a pound of frozen puff pastry and roll it out thin on a floured board. Use that to line four 4 inch pie pans.

Spread a light layer of pizza sauce over each one. Follow that with the toppings, salami, pepperoni, diced ham, diced onion and diced tomato. Sprinkle with some paprika and pepper (about a teaspoon of each should take care of all four)

Finally, top with shredded cheese and Bake at 420 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

1 lb. frozen puff pastry (thawed)
12 to 24 slices salami
12 to 24 slices pepperoni
1/2 cup diced ham
2 diced onions
2 cups shredded cheese
2 cups diced tomato
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. pepper
1 jar pizza sauce
