Never Assume, Especially in Nutjob Hills

I made a mistake recently. Because yoga guy had been quiet for several nights in a row I assumed that he had somehow finally gotten the message, seen the light, Etc. and decided to stop blasting music at four am.

That assumption was a mistake.

It turns out that he was simply not there for a few days. He was out on a buying trip. Specifically he was out buying new sound equipment. He got no less than three new amplifiers, four extremely large concert speakers and a rack of Pioneer dj mixers that would allow him to create his own custom remixes that involved playing several unrelated bits of music at the same time.

What he does is adjust frequency responses for a number of different audio ranges on each channel and then combine the result. In essense he’s removing parts of each bit of music and then mixing what’s left into something entirely new.

It’s also hideous.
