This morning the clear internet providers came to install the internet. I recently upgraded so that I could get a faster internet connection. I had taken all day off of work because I expected the installation to take at least half a day. I was really happy and surprised with they were in and out in less than an hour! I decided that since I had the whole rest of the day to myself that I was going to catch up on some things that I had been meaning to do. I usually bake pies for everyone over the holidays. My mother-in-law gave be a special recipe for Derby Pie ( she is from Louisville). She wouldn’t give me the recipe until I was part of the family. I went and stocked up on everything that I need to make the pies. I ended up making six pies and freezing them on my day off. I wish I could make more, but I only have one oven. Now, on my weekends off I am going to have to make the other fourteen pies that I will take to friends and family as a special holiday treat.
