Green tea has been part of traditional Chinese medicine for a long time. It’s been used to treat a wide variety of ailments including acne and improve overall health in general. It has gotten very popular worldwide in recent years both because of its taste and the many health benefits associate with it.

Aside from things like fighting off bacteria, there’s been research thats shown green tea can help reduce redness and inflammation, and even slow hormonal activity. Which means green tea can not only speed up healing and help prevent acne.

Green tea has also been gaining ground as one of the newest in a long line of acne solutions. Using it to treat acne you could take it as a drink, green tea extract in pill form, or as a topical cream. You can also simply place a warm teabag on pimples which can help draw out toxins and promote faster healing.
