I haven’t tried this one yet but I think it ought to be a real treat. I’ve no idea where it originated but the use of Maple syrup just says “New England” to my taste buds.
Cook a cup of Half-and-half and a quarter cup of Maple syrup over a medium heat stirring continuously until it’s thoroughly heated without allowing it to boil. Stir in one cup of hot coffee and serve topped with whipped cream.
That sounds so good that when I do get around to making it I’m going to double or triple the recipe so that I can make an entire pot of it at once.
