Quick Onion Dip

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I think a lot of people already know this one but I figure that there’s no harm in posting it for those (few?) who haven’t heard of it yet.

Take a container of Sour Cream (I believe they’re six ounces or so but I don’t have one right here to look at.) and a package of Onion soup mix. Add the mix to the sour cream and mix well. It makes a quick dip for chips, crackers or whatever else you like to use with dip. And because it only takes about a minute and a half to make, it can be made up at the last minute and that way you’re certain that it’s fresh.

No matter what new dip recipes I try, it’s the Onion Soup Dip bowl that’s always empty by the end of the evening! Two thumbs up for tradition!
